LUSTRE Video & Photography Scotland

How do I secure my booking?

After you have been in touch and have arranged your date with LUSTRE, you can secure your booking by paying the non refundable $500 Booking Fee which is deducted from your final balance. You will also need to fill out a contract. With both of these completed, your booking will be secured!

How can I pay?

You can pay with debit or credit.

When is the final payment due?

The remaining balance (after your deposit is paid) will be due one calendar month prior to your wedding day.

Where are you based and where do you travel?

I am based in London, Ontario and serve all surrounding cities in the area with no extra cost. There may be an additional charge for venues located further than 80km away. Additionally, there may be an overnight accommodation charge depending on the location. Get in touch to see if you have any questions about this.

I am also happy to travel! Let me know where your destination wedding is with all of your details and I can send you a bespoke quote.

What equipment do you use?

I shoot with a Sony A7iii Mirrorless Camera as well as Nikon D Series Cameras. In case of technical failure, I always bring backup equipment to each event.

Do you have Public Liability Insurance?

Yes I do! Please get in touch if you need a copy of this.

What are your qualifications?

I am a Bachelor of Fine Art Graduate from York University (Toronto, Canada) with a specialism in photography and I am a graduate of the Glasgow School of Art with a Masters of Letters in Fine Art Practice Degree.

Do you offer Engagement / Pre wedding / Anniversary Shoots?

Yes! You can book these as an 'Add On' for $500 or on its own for $600.

What music is selected for the video?

All of my videos that are intended for public use (the highlight videos) can only incorporate royalty free music. I currently use Musicbed for any royalty free music (with no extra charge). For private use only videos (the longer edits), couples can choose any music of their liking.

How early / late do you arrive or stay at the wedding?

Full day coverage is typically anything from Bridal/Groom Prep to the first few dances. I am very flexible with times though so am happy to stay for any special moment. Let me know when you get in touch if you have any special requests. Maximum of 12 hours.

When will we receive our photographs or video?

I don't like to make my clients wait too long!

Each package has its own waiting time (listed in packages here), but I try my best to get all files to couples within a month, with a preview of a few days.

Should we feed you?

This is not a requirement, but if you are able to do so it would be gratefully appreciated. It can be a really long day and often (depending on location) purchasing food might not be an option. I would love a vegetarian meal please.

Are our photographs license free?

Yes! Once you receive them, feel free to print them and share them! There are no extra hidden fees for downloading your images.

The only thing you are not allowed to do is sell them, as these rights remain with the photographer.

Will we get a pre-wedding consultation?

Yes! All of my packages include a pre wedding consultation. You are welcome to come visit me in my studio in London or we can chat over the phone or via Skype.

Can we purchase an extra USB?

Yes! Some packages include a wooden personalized engraved USB and box, but if you would like to order them, they are $75 each.

Are you available for other events?

Yes! Bar Mitzvas, Christenings, all celebrations, ceremonies or events I would love to be a part of your day!

We get nervous in front of the camera, can you give any tips?

A great way to make sure your wedding day photos are relaxed is to rehearse! I offer pre wedding photo shoots which often really help with the nerves!  I also prefer to take photographs that are quite natural, not so staged and often quite candid. This usually takes the pressure off and looks much more relaxed.
