LUSTRE Video & Photography

How do I secure my booking?

After you have been in touch and have arranged your date with LUSTRE, you can secure your booking by paying the non refundable £200 Booking Fee which is deducted from your final balance. You will also need to fill out an agreement form. With both of these completed, your booking will be secured!

Ways to pay...

You can pay via bank transfer, cash or paypal (for credit card transactions). Please let me know when booking if you have a preferred method of payment.

When is the final payment due?

The remaining balance will be due one calendar month prior to your wedding day.

Where do you travel to and what do you charge?

I am happy to travel anywhere in the UK, Europe and Canada (possibly other places too!).

All prices on my website are based on weddings within the Central Belt of Scotland (this includes Clydeside, The Lothians, Stirlingshire & Clackmannanshire). If your wedding is anywhere outside of this within the UK, I charge 45p per mile. Additionally, there may be an overnight accommodation charge (usually around £60-£80/night).

If your wedding is in Europe or Canada, get in touch for a bespoke quote.

Do you have Public Liability Insurance?

Yes I do! Please get in touch if you need a copy of this.

Who are the Shooters?

LUSTRE is run by Samantha Gurrey. Depending on what package you select, you will have one or two shooters at your wedding. Samantha is the main photographer & videographer. She also works with a hand selected group of professional artists (photographers and videographers) who all shoot in a similar style (very natural with a focus on creative and candid shots). This is to offer clients more availability and the option of having a second shooter.

Samantha does all of the editing to maintain a certain standard and to keep with a particular style (photos that feel a bit vintage, warm & soft).

What are your qualifications?

Samantha has a Bachelor of Fine Art Graduate from York University (Toronto, Canada) with a specialism in photography & I also graduated from the Glasgow School of Art with a Masters of Letters in Fine Art Practice Degree.

Do you offer Engagement / Pre wedding / Anniversary Shoots?

Yes! Get in touch to book or see the Packages page for details and prices.

Do your videos include audio of speeches/ceremony or other special moments?

Yes! The Arabian Night Lily package includes a selection of moments from the full day (including speeches & ceremony), The Bust Lizzie (extended video) package includes the full length ceremony & speeches.

What music is selected for the video?

All of my videos that are intended for public use can only incorporate royalty free music. I currently use Musicbed for any royalty free music (with no extra charge). For private use only video, couples can choose any music of their liking.

How early / late do you arrive or stay at the wedding?

I am there the whole day from wedding prep (if requested) all the way through until the first few dances. Everyone's day is different so I am flexible with my schedule.

When will we receive our photographs or video?

I don't like to make my couples wait too long! I normally say a maximum of 4 weeks, but usually a lot sooner!

Are our photographs license free?

Yes! Once you receive them, feel free to print them and share them!

Will we get a pre wedding consultation?

Yes! All of my packages include a pre wedding consultation. I am happy to meet face to face if you are able to meet in along the Central Belt of Scotland. Otherwise we can chat over Skype/ Face Time or a phone call.

Can we buy an extra USB Box ?

Yes! If you would like to order any engraved USB keys and boxes, they are £45 per box including UK shipping.

Are you available for other events?

Yes! Bar Mitzvas, Christenings, all celebrations, ceremonies or events I would love to be a part of your day!

We get nervous in front of the camera, can you give any tips?

A great way to make sure your wedding day photos are relaxed is to rehearse! I offer pre wedding photo shoots which often really help with the nerves!  I also prefer to take photographs that are quite natural, not so staged and often quite candid. This usually takes the pressure off and looks much more relaxed.
