LUSTRE Video & Photography Scotland

How do I secure my booking?

After you have been in touch and have arranged your date with LUSTRE, you can secure your booking by paying the non refundable £200 Booking Fee which is deducted from your final balance. You will also need to fill out an agreement form. With both of these completed, your booking will be secured!

When is the final payment due?

The remaining balance will be due one calendar month prior to your wedding day.

Where do you travel to and what do you charge?

I am happy to travel anywhere in the UK, Europe and Canada (possibly other places too!).

All prices on my website are based on weddings within the Central Belt of Scotland (this includes Clydeside, The Lothians, Stirlingshire & Clackmannanshire). If your wedding is anywhere outside of this within the UK, I charge 45p per mile. Additionally, there may be an overnight accommodation charge (usually around £60-£80/night).

If your wedding is in Europe or Canada, get in touch for a bespoke quote.

What equipment do you use?

I shoot with Nikon D Series Cameras. In case of technical failure, I always bring backup equipment to each event.

Do you have Public Liability Insurance?

Yes I do! Please get in touch if you need a copy of this.

What are your qualifications?

I am a Bachelor of Fine Art Graduate from York University (Toronto, Canada) with a specialism in photography & I also graduated from the Glasgow School of Art with a Masters of Letters in Fine Art Practice Degree.

Do you offer Engagement / Pre wedding / Trash the Dress / Cherish the Dress Photo Shoots?

Yes! I primarily like to book this on Sundays or mid week so they do not interfere with wedding bookings. See the Packages page for details and prices.

Do your videos include audio of speeches/ceremony or other special moments?

Yes! I always audio record the full ceremony & speeches and use select moments in my videos. I also offer the full audio recording as a separate add on if requested.

What music is selected for the video?

All of my videos that are intended for public use can only incorporate royalty free music. I currently use Musicbed for any royalty free music (with no extra charge). For private use only video's, couples can choose any music of their liking.

How early / late do you arrive or stay at the wedding?

I am there the whole day from wedding prep (if requested) all the way through until the first few dances. Everyone's day is different so I am flexible with my schedule.

When will we receive our photographs or video?

I don't like to make my couples wait too long!

For the Photography only package (Red Rose) I guarantee to give all couples their photographs within 2 weeks of their wedding day & a preview of 4-6 images within 2 days of wedding.

For the Video only package (Lily of the Valley) I guarantee a highlight video available for viewing within 1 week of wedding and finished full video within 1 month of the wedding.

*While I hope to maintain this waiting time for as long as possible, this is subject to change in the future.

Do we need to feed you?

Yes please! It can be a really long day and often (depending on location) purchasing food might not be an option. I would love a vegetarian meal please. :)

Are our photographs license free?

Yes! Once you receive them, feel free to print them and share them!

Will we get a pre wedding consultation?

Yes! All of my packages include a pre wedding consultation. I am happy to meet face to face anywhere along the Central Belt of Scotland or via Skype if you are located elsewhere.

Can we buy an extra USB Box ?

Yes! If you would like to order any engraved USB keys and boxes, they are £40 per box including UK wide shipping.

Are you available for other events?

Yes! Bar Mitzvas, Christenings, all celebrations, ceremonies or events I would love to be a part of your day!

We get nervous in front of the camera, can you give any tips?

A great way to make sure your wedding day photos are relaxed is to rehearse! I offer pre wedding photo shoots which often really help with the nerves!  I also prefer to take photographs that are quite natural, not so staged and often quite candid. This usually takes the pressure off and looks much more relaxed.
